Q. For how many positions should I apply?
A. We suggest you apply for the one opportunity that best matches your qualifications and interest by visiting our website.

Q. I submitted my resume a couple of days ago. How long will it take before I can schedule an interview?
A. You will receive an e-mail acknowledgment once your resume has been successfully entered into our system and/or database. If there is an opportunity that matches your qualifications, you will be contacted by an NCI Human Resources representative to schedule an interview.

Q. What should I wear to my interview?
A. We would suggest attire that is appropriately professional for an initial interview.

Q. What is the interview process like?
A.Once the system determines that you meet qualifications for the open position, you will be contacted to meet first with a Human Resources representative. In addition, certain positions may also require skill testing, drug screen and/or background check prior to employment. After the initial meeting, we'll let you know if there is a potential match and set up interview meetings. This may require more than one visit to our offices, but our goal is to make this process as convenient and informative for you as possible. Of course, references will be checked before any offer of employment is extended.

Q. I went to a career fair and nobody called me. What's the deal?
A. At that job fair, you would have received a card with our electronic career site at http://nci.submit4jobs.com where you can post for a currently available position that matches your qualifications. If the system determines that you meet those qualifications, we'll call you to schedule interviews with the hiring team.

Search Opportunities

Q. Do you have any part-time jobs?
A. While there are occasional part-time jobs at the Company, the vast majority of positions are full-time.

Q. How do I find out if there are opportunities available in a specific department?
A. There are multiple ways to search NCI Careers for opportunities. A keyword search on the search opportunities page will provide you with the largest and most varied list. To find opportunities in a specific department, it is best to browse the Department descriptions page for your area of interest, then click onto the appropriate opportunities link.

Q. How can I be sure that a position to which I post online has not already been filled?
A. Every effort will be made to remove job postings as soon as possible once a position is filled. You will receive an acknowledgment of resume receipt, then we will contact you if you meet qualifications.

Q. Do you accept unsolicited resumes?
A. NCI reserves the right to only consider those individuals who post to open positions electronically via
NCI Careers, in order to be fair to all applicants; however, the system allows you to post resumes for future opportunities. Please refer to its instructions.

Q. What happens after I post my resume?
A. All applicants receive a general acknowledgment that their resume has been received. Selected candidates will be contacted to schedule a first-round interview either over the telephone or in person. If the first-round interviews are successful, candidates will attend a final interview and/or assessment through our corporate offices in Atlanta.
